DESIGN SPHERE BY OLGA

GENESIS OF DESIGN SPHERE BY OLGA

At an impressionable age, Olga was exposed to Studio Art and the appreciation of it through those around her. Subsequently, Architecture and Interior design were a major part of Olga’s upbringing, having been brought up in a Real Estate enterprising family. With that, she was naturally indoctrinated into the world of Art and Architecture. Throughout her life’s journey Olga wanted to find ways to intersect the built and artistic environments.

Olga has an acute perception of the world around her and a responsiveness to how spaces feel; which in essence is often influenced by the demeanor and dominance of those that occupy them. Olga leans on artistic expression to portray her experience and comprehension of life’s manifestations. Therefore, Design Sphere by Olga is a project that brings a shared sensibility of the structural, cerebral and ethereal world.

The subject matters of the final work range from the lighthearted humor, the artistic appreciation of the human figure to more leaden topics such as mental illness and social justice. In the end, the work of Design Sphere by Olga is a fusion of the innate complexity of human behavior and the manifestation of it in the structural and natural spaces we occupy.
